CLINICAL CONSULTATIONS FOR THERAPISTS

I truly believe that as healers the most important tool that we have is our relationship with our clients. I use the same philosophy in my work as a consultant or supervisor. My goal as your clinical consultant would be to provide a compassionate safe space for you to open up about your experience so you can connect with your inner wisdom, clarity and confidence with your clients. Whether you're looking for clinical consultation to integrate various modalities like EMDR, IFS, DBT, CBT etc. in your work, or looking for guidance in working with complex clinical presentations, or enhancing ethical practice, I would aim to be an anchor that can guide you in ethical, effective, confident and competent work.

CRPO Supervision: I am trained in providing supervision for therapists that are qualifying for CRPO. I also seek regular consultation from Supervisor Mentors who have extensive experience mentoring supervisors for CRPO. As a Supervisor, I provide individual and dyadic consultation/ supervision.  During supervision, I provide support with case conceptualization, treatment planning, ethical dilemmas, implementation of therapeutic modalities, transference/ counter transference issues, safe and effective use of self, clinical note writing, etc. If you are interested in dyadic supervision at a particular day/time, please find another therapist seeking supervision to form the group for that day/ time, and I will be happy to provide supervision/ consultation for your dyad. 

EMDR Consultation: I am EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and I provide EMDR Individual and Group consultation for therapists. During consultation, I provide support with formulating strong case conceptualizations, assessing readiness for EMDR Therapy, ensuring fidelity to the EMDR procedural steps and knowing when to modify EMDR protocols. Additionally, we will have discussions around screening for Dissociative Disorders and doing parts work to treat dissociation. I will support you in applying EMDR Therapy with Complex PTSD and special cases and discussing transference/ counter-transference issues that can happen. Hours will count towards EMDR Certification. 

IFS Consultation: I am IFS Certified and Level 3 Trained. I am also a Program Assistant for IFS trainings. I provide consultation for therapists wanting to integrate IFS into their clinical work and life. During consultation, we will explore questions you may have about IFS, ways to work with challenging clients' parts, and your healer parts that may be coming up in therapy. IFS consultation may also involve spending time deepening your relationship with what's being activated in your system. Consultation hours do not count towards IFS certification. I provide individual and group consultation. If you'd like to attend group consultation, you can form your own groups of 2 or 3 therapists and then contact me for dates and times that work for everyone.

Clinical Consultation: I also offer Clinical Consultation for therapists seeking professional development, and wanting to enhance confidence and competence in their clinical work. 

Please note, I do not provide supervision for interns or practicum students at this time.
