IFS Consultation Group

I run this consultation group as per IFSI's guidelines for consultation. The hours will count towards IFS certification if you have finished IFS Level 1 and are interested in certification. This group is open to therapists who are not interested in certification and are looking to enhance their IFS practice. The group will have maximum 6 therapists. The group will run for 6 sessions, once per month, from January to June, and then a new group will run again from July to December. Every therapist will get a chance to either share a clinical case, or practice and learn, during the group. The cost of the group is $40 per session per therapist/month.

The goal of IFS consultation is to ensure:

• Core concepts of the model are understood and evident in practice.
• Demonstrate Self-leadership in the work (e.g., become more aware of therapist parts, etc.).
• Ability to practice IFS collaboratively, respectfully and with attention to issues of power, diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Demonstrates pro-active attention to safe application of the model.
• Demonstrates proficiency in foundational skills of IFS (polarization, externalization, legacy burdens, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively at the beginning stages of a piece of IFS work
• Ability to work effectively with protectors
• Ability to work effectively with exiles 

Please note, I do not provide supervision for interns or practicum students at this time.
