Free Services for Community HealthCaring K-W Refugee Centre

The referrals for pro bono services will be received through Community HealthCaring K-W Refugee Health Centre. After assessing the need for psychotherapy, the staff at the centre will have you sign a release of information form. 

After you are referred to me through the centre, you can use the secure online booking portal to Create an Account, and Book an Appointment. While selecting the service, please pick the service: Community HealthCaring Centre Clients as its fee is $0.  You are eligible for 8 free psychotherapy sessions. After 8 sessions, if you want to continue therapy you can access community mental health services or add your names to the bottom of my pro bono clients waitlist.

The appointments you book can be rescheduled easily outside of the 24 hour timeframe. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged $25 fee. That is because that time slot could be used for other clients who are waiting for services and I want to encourage all clients to reschedule ahead of time to prevent late-cancels or no shows. Exceptions for the $25 fee can be made in case of an emergency.

While booking through the online portal, you have to provide your credit card information even for free services. The information is stored in an encrypted manner and cannot be accessed by anyone. Your credit card will not be charged unless there is a late-cancellation or a no show. If you prefer not to provide your credit card information on the booking portal, then we can book a session through email or phone. Please email and let me know if you have any concerns.
